As the weather has been a bit harsh on us lately, last week in „Around the World" workshops our preschoolers lerned about the sunniest place in the European Union. Can you guess what that is?

It is Cyprus, which enjoys 340 days of sunshine every year. It is a lovely island in the south of the Mediterranean Sea. Good news about weather don't end wirth sunshine: due to its varied landscaping, It has snow in the mountains that lasts until late spring. It is possible to ski in the morning and lie on the beach in the afternoon.

Cyprus is also famous for its population of cats, which is estimated at about 100 thousand for only 1,141 million people living there!
